The Challenge:
Long time client EOD Distillery spent over a year developing what would be one of the first butterfly pea flower ‘purple’ spirits. Such a noticeably remarkable spirit needed an equally remarkable presentation. Creature Theory was hired to name and develop package design that would help to move this spirit off shelves as fast as its stocked.
Execution:
Creature Theory began by researching the origins of the butterfly pea flower, its relationship to color and cultures, and how this would be part of the story of this special gin. Hundreds of potential names were explored for this product—the final selection, Luna Bloom, has become an instant cult classic. With a name selected, we set out to develop bold yet elegant package design that would open the door to the story of this unique gin. This is one of our most awarded designs of 2022.
